Alrighty. It’s official. I’m addicted to the internet.

The DSL connection I’ve been using decided to give me the middle
finger, frustrating me for three days. I could have sworn I heard
evil cackling from the modem. After giving about 2 hours of my life to the
tech support line for SBC (it’s amazing how many dumb people you go
through until you find one that knows what to do), I finally got it to
work again. Good thing. The shakes were starting to get unbearable from withdrawal. I
finally got my internet fix this morning. It was a wonderful feeling of
bliss to see the Yahoo! site load in my Firefox browser.

I know. It’s sad when a grown man can’t go a day without accessing his
email (I used my cellphone to check my email or used my girlfriend’s
computer at her house). Oh well. Better that than some ridiculously
expensive habit like buying DVDs all the time…

*pause*

Ok, never mind. Movin’ on…

I got some new pets on the site. Please do play with them. They enjoy it.

Went to the Brookfield Zoo yesterday (which would be Friday, mind you)
with Amanda and saw close to every single animal that lives there with
the major exception of kangaroos, ostriches, and aardvarks.

I was disappointed there were no aardvarks.

Job panel interview on the 31st of August. Prayers needed. Thanks.

Sin City. Gory and violent, but very stylish and cool.
House of Flying Daggers. Beautiful and lyrical love story with great action set pieces.
How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. Cute and funny. A chick flick for both sexes.

Tantalizing Teaser for my next entry: I will tell the thrilling story
behind my tickets. It’s full of intrigue, red tape, and cops. Do tune
in.

I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that last Thursday marked five lovely months with this beautiful girl.
