I’m ALIVE!
I didn’t think I would be this busy this summer, but so far I’ve been proven wrong. And there’s nothing wrong with that. Amanda and I have been working on our wedding plans. We are thisclose to deciding on a reception hall. Outside of planning, we’ve had a trip to the beach and some lazy days.
For those of you who are wondering, the job interview I had a couple of weeks ago in Houston went well. They really liked me, but are not sure on my job experience so they want to make sure I can deliver. So, on Sunday I got a project that I’m expected to do for them. If I deliver what they want, then it looks very good that I’ll be a) employed and b) a Texan.
But don’t worry. I’m an Illinoisan and a Chicagoan by heart. I would burst out into “Sweet Home Chicago” if I knew the lyrics.
So, that’s pretty much it. For now.

I guess you won’t be singing “Oh, the Yellow Rose of Texas” since you would rather be singing “Oh, the Yellow Rose of Illinois” 🙂

I would want to visit you both down there sometime. That is one state that I have never been to. Renee
