Saw the Brothers Grimm yesterday. It was a weird movie. All over the place and hard to understand. I wouldn’t recommend forking over $10 to see this. It’s worth a DVD rental though. I went to see this movie with Amanda and my family in celebration of my sister’s 21st birthday. My little sister is getting older. Speaking of getting older, I turn 25 in just a few weeks. Dios mio. I walked in, all dolled up: shirt, tie, somewhat fancy shoes. There were eight people waiting to interview me. I clutched the cold water plastic bottle that was given me. The pit of nervousness in my stomach pulsated but then evaporated when the interview finally started. I feel good about it. Did I get the job? I don’t know yet–won’t for a couple of days at least. But all I can say is that I feel I did a good job presenting myself in a professional and calm manner, fielding their questions (nothing really difficult to answer). → Read more...
