During the Chicago Bears’ NFC championship game on January 12, 1986, where they defeated the Los Angeles Rams 24-0 to secure their place in Super Bowl XX, a game they went on to win, the snow started falling. It is said that some people and players thought it was George Halas, the legendary Bears founder and coach, watching from above and giving his blessing. Last week, I talked about the fact that without Jesus as our savior and mediator, we cannot reach and communicate with God and thus ultimately fully worship Him. Worship is something that I have struggled with for a long time. For me, and I think for a lot of people too, it is hard to be reverent to something that you don’t see or fully grasp.
